My brother says he's going to move to Brownsville, Texas. That's about as far south as yer can get while still being in the USA. It's mostly warm there most of the time. I think he's on to something.

Right now (11:00 PM MST) it's 64-degrees F there. Here, it's 27 and falling. Ah well.

The Unnecessary Depression
by L. Neil Smith
It's been a long time, but I'm headed out to the high plains this morning, where the sun shines brightly, the wind blows free, the air is clearer, and I can think—at least it feels that way—a little better. I am, both by nature and profession, a problem solver, so it's been a particularly frustrating couple of years for me. I knew, for example, that there was no need—and absolutely no excuse—to suffer through all of the nonsense we all did over the price of gasoline.

The Bill Of Rights Enforcement Rangers
by Roger Cook
Conflicts across the globe and an international respect for Barack Obama have created the perfect setting for establishment of "a New World Order," according to Henry Kissinger. Kissinger's "wet dream" doesn't have to be realized, if we get our own ducks in a row and do what is necessary to de-rail their planned "Socialist New World Order".

Obama or Blagojevich?
by Scott Graves
Which of the following quotes were taken from speeches by President Obama and which were taken from those of ex-Governor Blagojevich?

Conservatives... Aren't
by Russell D. Longcore
The old adage, "Actions speak louder than words," has never been truer as it relates to the idea and ideal of conservatism. Scores of books have been written about conservatism and liberalism, and more will be written. In my view, they mostly cloud the issues and make the definitions fuzzy at best.
